Lunch Arranged for UO's Christian Staff

To honor the Christian community on this Christmas Eve, a special event was organized at the University of Okara (UO), in which the entire university management enthusiastically participated. Speaking on this prestigious occasion, the Vice Chancellor of UO Dr. Zakaria Zakar wished Merry Christmas to the Christian community especially the university’s Christian staff, and said that Christians are an important part of our country, apt example of it is their role in the Pakistan movement. He further said that in the contemporary situation, it is extremely important that we shall create a culture of respect for every individual in our institutions. Then, a special lunch was arranged for the university’s Christian staff by the honorable Vice Chancellor, and he also himself participated in the Christmas cake cutting ceremony as well. This whole memorable event was organized by the UO Resident’s Officer Dr. Shahzad Ahmad, and the Director Institute of Social & Cultural Studies, Punjab University Prof. Dr. Rubeena Zakar was also present at the event.
